Hayden Stofle spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and five unearned) runs on six hits and racked up 13 Ks. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts in three consecutive appearances.
On the hitting side, El Toro got a massive performance out of Sadie Mitchell, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Saylor Hinkson, who got on base in three of her five plate appearances with three runs, one stolen base, and one double.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: El Toro kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in March of 2024.
Meanwhile, Indio waltzed into their game on Saturday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They skirted past the Vikings 4-2. That's two games straight that the Rajahs have won by exactly two runs.
Indio also let their pitcher toss all seven innings and she was also dialed-in: Kaila Wilson gave up just two earned runs on six hits.
At the plate, Indio saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Carmen Gordillo, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI and one double.
Indio pushed their record up to 18-11 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for El Toro, they now have a winning record of 13-12-1.
