The Real Life Christian Academy Raptors are taking a road trip to face off against the Bell Creek Academy Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Real Life Christian Academy is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.3 runs per game this season.
Having struggled with three losses in a row, Real Life Christian Academy turned things around against Wildwood on Thursday. They walked away with a 10-5 victory over the Wildcats.

Gavin Rose made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out ten batters over 6.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off two hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in seven consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs and stealing four bases while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high.
In other batting news, Isaiah Navarro and Chris LaSalle did most of the damage at the plate: Navarro went 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs, while LaSalle scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Those three RBI gave Navarro a new career-high. Hudson Joyce also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.
Meanwhile, Bell Creek Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Pinellas Park. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest loss the Panthers have suffered since March 13th.
Bell Creek Academy saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tate Anich, who scored a run while going 1-for-3.
Bell Creek Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 6-14-1. As for Real Life Christian Academy, their record now sits at 6-9.
Bell Creek Academy's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Real Life Christian Academy has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .436. It's a different story for Bell Creek Academy, though, as they've only averaged .352. Will they be able to contain Real Life Christian Academy's hitters?
