Atlantic Christian won the last time they faced Palm Beach Lakes and things went their way on Tuesday too. Everything went the Atlantic Christian Sharks' way against the Palm Beach Lakes Rams as the Atlantic Christian Sharks made off with a 16-5 victory. The result was nothing new for the Sharks, who have now won six contests by nine runs or more so far this season.

Landon Moffitt was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out seven batters over 4.1 innings while giving up just one earned (and four unearned) runs off six hits. He has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in seven consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

In other batting news, David Gonzalez was incredible, scoring four runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. He is becoming a predictor of Atlantic Christian's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 0-5 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Micah Herring, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.

Atlantic Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .622. They are a perfect 5-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Atlantic Christian now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Palm Beach Lakes, they moved to 6-2 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Atlantic Christian will square off against Berean Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Palm Beach Lakes, they will challenge Inlet Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Palm Beach Lakes is facing Inlet Grove at the right time seeing as Inlet Grove is stuck on a seven-game losing streak.
