The Wolfson Wolfpack are taking a road trip to challenge the Trinity Christian Academy Conquerors at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wolfson is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 13.5 runs per game this season.
Wolfson fought the good fight in their extra-innings matchup against Christ's Church Academy on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Eagles by a score of 14-13. While the Wolfpack didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Eagles 7-0 in the first period.

Dylan Hetrick led a balanced group of hitters, going 3-for-4 with four stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last five games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Isabel Nieves, who went 2-for-5 with four RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Sandalwood hit Trinity Christian Academy with a four-run fifth inning on Monday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Conquerors fell just short of the Saints by a score of 7-5. The Conquerors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Adeline Hough was cooking despite her team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Nakaela Williams, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with three stolen bases and two runs.
Wolfson has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-6 record this season. As for Trinity Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11.
Tuesday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Wolfson has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .525. However, it's not like Trinity Christian Academy struggles in that department as they've averaged .439.
