They put the hurt on the Young Women's Leadership Academy Lady Owls with a sharp 55-32 win on Tuesday. The Tigers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matches by 22 points or more this season.
Trinity Leadership got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Kadyn Jones out in front who posted 18 points. Jones continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Emani Taylor, who had 14 points.
The win (which was Trinity Leadership's third in a row) raised their record to 7-7. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 16.7 points per game. As for Young Women's Leadership Academy, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.
