Wartburg Central's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Landon Quinney, who picked up 152 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The team also got some help courtesy of Lawson Swint, who threw for 224 yards and two touchdowns.
Tellico Plains' loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performance. Perhaps the best among them was Chance Shapiro, who rushed for 146 yards and a touchdown while picking up 7.7 yards per carry. Omar Miller was another key contributor, rushing for 101 yards and a touchdown.
Wartburg Central's win bumped their record up to 3-7. As for Tellico Plains, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
