While losing is never fun, Hickory Grove Christian can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 414th in North Carolina, while Heathwood Hall Episcopal is ranked 164th in South Carolina).
Meanwhile, Liberty Preparatory Christian waltzed into their match last Monday with three straight wins but they left with four. They took down Providence Classical 54-37.
Hickory Grove Christian has not been sharp recently as the team's lost 15 of their last 16 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-21 record this season. As for Liberty Preparatory Christian, they pushed their record up to 10-7 with that win, which was their fourth straight on the road.
