Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bishop Ireton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Saniyah King, who scored 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Amirah Anderson, who scored 13 points.
Bishop Ireton's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Varsity Opponent, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost eight of their last ten matchups, which is still a better percentage than their 31-133-3 record this season.
Bishop Ireton will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Catholic at 2:00 p.m. Catholic has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Varsity Opponent, they will head out on the road to face off against Crosspointe Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
