Miami Valley Christian Academy's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Casey Heap, who scored ten points along with two steals. Henry Patterson was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with eight rebounds.
Even though they lost, Miami Valley Christian Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Bethel-Tate now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Miami Valley Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-5.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bethel-Tate will take on Williamsburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Miami Valley Christian Academy, they will head out on the road to square off against Norwood at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Norwood is out to stop a four-game streak of losses at home.
