Sumner had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Friday. They put the hurt on the Slaughter Community Charter Knights with a sharp 15-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Cowboys, who have now won 21 games by ten runs or more so far this season.

Sumner's win bumped their record up to 22-4. As for Slaughter Community Charter, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.

Coming up, Sumner will take on Episcopal at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Slaughter Community Charter, they will look to defend their home field on Monday against Livonia at 5:00 p.m. The Knights will need to watch out since the Wildcats have now posted at least ten runs in their last three matches.
