Basketball Recap: Argonia Comes Up Short

On Monday, the Argonia Raiders came up short against the Stafford Trojans and fell 50-39. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, Argonia still got an impressive performance from MANUEL FERNANDEZ, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds. The dominant performance gave FERNANDEZ a new career-high in boards. Another player making a difference was Carson Vineyard, who posted four points.

Even though they lost, Argonia smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in four consecutive matchups.
