After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Pueblo County, Pueblo South was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. Bella Sniff was a major factor no matter where she played. She struck out seven batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits (and not a single walk). That's the most strikeouts she has posted since back in September. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Kennedy Camacho-Orona and Desirae Colby did most of the damage at the plate: Camacho-Orona went 2-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run, while Colby went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, one run, and one RBI. Pueblo South hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sand Creek struck out seven times.
