Fillmore Central has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Kingsland Knights at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Fillmore Central will be strutting in after a win while Kingsland will be coming in after a loss.
Fillmore Central posted their biggest victory yet this season on Monday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 65-33 win over Wabasha-Kellogg.
Kingsland has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a hard 59-43 fall against Spring Grove on Monday.
Fillmore Central pushed their record up to 11-8 with that win, which was their fourth straight at home. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.8 points per game. As for Kingsland, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-4.
Fillmore Central came out on top in a nail-biter against Kingsland in their previous meeting back in December of 2022, sneaking past 50-48. Will Fillmore Central repeat their success, or does Kingsland have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
