State championship week in Alabama high school football began Wednesday with the Class 7A title game.

The Warriors led 26-7 after three quarters en route to their first state title since 1982.
Three champions were crowned Thursday as Central of Clay County (13-3) beat Pleasant Grove (14-2) 30-27 for the 5A title, Piedmont (14-1) downed Mobile Christian (9-5) 26-24 for the 3A crown and Lanett (14-0) beat Mars Hill Bible (14-1) 41-30 in a battle of unbeatens in 1A.
Friday's championship games resulted in UMS-Wright Prep (14-0) earning the 4A title and Fyffe (15-0) in 2A after a dominant 56-7 win over Reeltown.
The game of the night came in 6A where Oxford beat Spanish Fort 14-13 to earn its first state title since 1989. The Yellow Jackets scored the game-tying touchdown with 23 seconds to go and kicked the PAT for the win.
Jordan-Hare Stadium, home of the Auburn Tigers, will serve as the host site for all seven state championship contests.
Champions in 2018 include Mars Hill Bible (1A), Fyffe (2A), Flomaton (3A), UMS-Wright (4A), Central Clay County (5A), Pinson Valley (6A) and Central-Phenix City (7A).
