 Even though they lost, Valley  smashed the offensive glass and  finished the game with ten  offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Berthoud only pulled down three  offensive rebounds.
 Berthoud found their leader in underclassman  Avery Pfohl, who  scored 31 points along with three  steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which  Pfohl has scored at least a third of Berthoud's points. Another player making a difference was  Kaylee Padilla, who  scored nine points along with two  steals.
 Valley has  been struggling recently as they've  lost five of their last six matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 8-15 record  this season. As for Berthoud, their win  ended a three-game drought at home  and  bumped them up to 8-15.
 Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Berthoud also has no future games currently scheduled.
