South Charleston (W. Va.) didn't let up as Saturday's game came to a close, scoring 16 in the fourth quarter to seal a 48-19 victory over
Riverside (Belle, W. Va.).
After taking the lead on a touchdown run by
A.d. Cunningham in the first quarter, the Black Eagles were up 26-12 at the half.
South Charleston expanded its lead to 15 points entering the fourth quarter. SC's lone score in the quarter came on a touchdown.
When the two teams played each other last season, the Black Eagles came away with a 56-33 victory.
The loss was the third in a row for the Warriors. The win brought South Charleston's winning streak to four games.
Riverside (1-8) goes up against Parkersburg in a Mountain State game matchup next week, while South Charleston (7-2) locks horns with Huntington also in a Mountain State game.
