The Wooster Colts on the road again on Friday and play against the North Valleys Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on January 19th. Wooster will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Nevada Rankings (they are ranked 72nd, while North Valleys is ranked 20th).
Wooster suffered their biggest loss since December 8, 2023 on Wednesday. They were the victim of a rough 66-44 loss at the hands of South Tahoe. Wooster has not had much luck with South Tahoe recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Meanwhile, North Valleys put the finishing touches on their tenth blowout victory of the season on Wednesday. They breezed by Truckee on the road to the tune of 65-29. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest win North Valleys has posted since December 2, 2023.
Wooster bumped their record down to 2-9 with that loss, which was their third straight on the road. As for North Valleys, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 12-5.
Things could have been worse for Wooster, but things could have been a whole lot better as they took a 69-51 loss to North Valleys in their previous meeting back in January of 2023. Can Wooster avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
