After two weeks on the road, Fowler is heading back home. On Friday they take on Deerfield at 7:00 PM. Fowler have seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability Deerfield are surely hoping to exploit.
There's no need to mince words: Fowler lost to Ashland last Friday, and they lost bad. The score wound up at 6-48. This makes it the second loss in a row for Fowler.
Meanwhile, things haven't been easy for Deerfield, and their match last Friday only extended their streak of losses to five. They were completely outmatched, falling 6-54 to Pawnee Heights. The game was over by the end of the first half, with no points scored by either team from that point forward.
With both teams hitting sour notes in their previous games, they will no doubt be looking to produce a better outcome in this one. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
