Potomac School won the last time they faced Georgetown Visitation Prep and things went their way on Thursday too. The Panthers blew past the Cubs 11-2. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won 11 matches by nine runs or more so far this season.
Catherine Stallmer made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just two earned runs off three hits. Stallmer was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with two RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Paige Schedler, who went 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. That's the most stolen bases she has posted since back in May of 2024. Zora Burrell also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
