Basketball Recap: Beacon Extends Winning Streak to Three

Beacon had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 25.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Saturday. They were the clear victor by a 73-50 margin over the Monticello Panthers. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five games by 23 points or more this season.

Beacon has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 7-2 record this season. As for Monticello, they dropped their record down to 1-8 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Beacon will venture away from home to take on Kingston at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Kingston will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Beacon surely won't give up without a fight. As for Monticello, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sullivan West at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
