After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Perkins-Tryon, The McLoud Redskins were happy to have found some success on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Mount St. Mary 54-13 at home. That's another feather in the cap for McLoud, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Coulson Kennedy was a one-man wrecking crew for McLoud as he rushed for 157 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, and also threw for 26 yards and a touchdown while completing 100% of his passes. Kennedy's longest rush was for an incredible 84 yards. Another player making a difference was Kaiden Cue, who rushed for 110 yards and two touchdowns on only nine carries.
McLoud's victory bumped their record up to 5-5. As for Mount St. Mary, they are on a eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.
McLoud does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Mount St. Mary also has no future games currently scheduled.
