If the Creekview Grizzlies were riding high off their 58-38 takedown of Denmark on Monday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Creekview took a 60-42 bruising from Pickens on Tuesday. Creekview was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Pickens apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2015.
Despite the loss, Creekview saw an underclassman step up: Kailyn Hamby scored 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Amilya Taft , who scored 10 points along with 6 rebounds.
Creekview's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Pickens, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Creekview will head out on the road to face off against Cambridge at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pickens, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Fannin County at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
