 Despite the  loss, Rush-Henrietta got top-tier performance from   Imani Wagstaff, who rushed for 187 yards and one  TD while picking up 8.5 yards per carry. Wagstaff's longest rush was for an incredible 73 yards.
 Meanwhile, Fairport lost to Webster Thomas on the road  by a   28-14 margin on Friday. The  matchup marked the Red Raiders' lowest-scoring  contest so far this season.
 Having lost for the first time  this season, Rush-Henrietta  fell to 4-1. As for Fairport, the  defeat was their first  on the road , dropping their record down to 3-2.
 Everything went Rush-Henrietta's way against Fairport in their previous meeting  back in November of 2024, as Rush-Henrietta made off with  a  42-21 victory. Will the Royal Comets repeat their success,  or do  the Red Raiders have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
