Despite the defeat, Fayette Academy saw an underclassman step up: Clay Anderson scored 13 points along with 8 rebounds. Anderson is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now stole two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Harris Armour, who scored 6 points along with 6 rebounds.
Millington Central found their leader in underclassman Andre Tyler, who scored 11 points along with 7 assists and 4 steals. Another player making a difference was Tayshaun Dye, who scored 13 points.
Fayette Academy now has a losing record at 2-3. As for Millington Central, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fayette Academy will square off against Chester County at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Millington Central is on the road again on Friday and play against Dyer County at 6:00 p.m. on December 1st. Dyer County has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 212 points over their last three matchups.
