Savannah had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 23.6 points) and they went ahead and made it six on Saturday. They came out on top against the North Andrew Cardinals by a score of 37-28. While the Savages didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-17), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Savannah pushed their record up to 8-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 29.3 points per game. As for North Andrew, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season.

Savannah wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 40-27 victory against Bishop LeBlond on the 30th. North Andrew has also already played their next matchup, a 48-46 win against Auburn on the 30th.
