There's no place like home for Council, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They blew past the Notus Pirates 73-45 on Wednesday. The Lumberjacks have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won nine matches by 20 points or more this season.
Dehaven Wilson and Luis Vargas certainly did their best on Wednesday to avoid the loss. Wilson posted eight points and eight rebounds, while Vargas had eight points and six boards. Vargas is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 50% in the last three games he's played. Nico Martinez was another key player, putting up seven points.
Council's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-5. As for Notus, their loss dropped their record down to 12-8.
