Meanwhile, this season hasn't been kind to Boulder, who are still winless after their seventh match. They were outmatched by Fairview on the road and fell 49-7. Boulder has struggled against Fairview recently, as Friday's match was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged zero points per game. As for Boulder, their loss was their seventh straight on the road (dating back to last season), which dropped their overall record down to 0-7.
Everything came up roses for Poudre against Boulder in their previous matchup back in October of 2022 as the squad secured a 41-3 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Poudre since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
