Canyon Lake's's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. They took a hard 54-39 fall against Navarro. Canyon Lake has not had much luck with Navarro recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Navarro's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Tegan Harborth led the charge by scoring 15 points along with seven rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Harborth has scored at least 25% of Navarro's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Sienna Kramer, who scored nine points along with nine rebounds.
Canyon Lake's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Navarro, their win bumped their record up to 17-6.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Fredericksburg the next time they take the court. Navarro will host Fredericksburg at 6:15 p.m. on Friday, while Canyon Lake will head out to face them at 6:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
