After a string of six wins, the Desert Christian Academy Conquerors's good fortune finally ran out on Wednesday. They ended up on the wrong side of a tough 74-49 walloping at the hands of Indio.
Despite the loss, Desert Christian Academy still got an impressive performance from Jacob Reynolds, who went 10 for 14 from beyond the arc en route to 32 points and 1 assists. Those 32 points set a new season-high mark for him. The team also got some help courtesy of Jaden Herling, who scored three points along with eight assists.
Desert Christian Academy's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-5. As for Indio, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season.

Capistrano Valley Christian presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Desert Christian Academy in California (Capistrano Valley Christian is ranked 301st, while Desert Christian Academy is ranked 615th). As for Indio, they will play host again and welcome Central, where tip off is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Central is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 50 points per game.
