The Cascade Cadets suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Saturday. They were outmatched by Brownsburg at home and fell 68-31. Cascade has not had much luck with Brownsburg recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
Cascade lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Connor Sanders, who scored seven points along with five assists.
Jordan Lomax continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Brownsburg, scoring 14 points along with five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Spencer Porath, who scored five points along with three steals.
Cascade's loss was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 3-6. As for Brownsburg, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 7-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cascade will face off against Cloverdale at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Cloverdale is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak. Brownsburg's road trip will continue as they head out to face Fishers at 7:30 p.m. on January 12th. Fishers has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 947 points over their last 13 matches.
