Notre Dame Catholic fell just short of Immaculate by a score of 49-46. That's two games in a row now that Notre Dame Catholic has lost by exactly three points.
Immaculate found their leader in underclassman Kendra Foy, who scored 16 points along with eight rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which Foy has scored at least 25% of Immaculate's points. Another player making a difference was Jenna Saidman, who scored nine points.
Notre Dame Catholic's loss was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 0-4. As for Immaculate, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
Notre Dame Catholic will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against Trumbull at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Immaculate will finish 2023 at home by hosting New Fairfield at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
