Lake Placid has been on the road for two straight, but  on Thursday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Frostproof Bulldogs at 7:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Hopefully Lake Placid focused on turnovers this week  since the team gave up 15 on Monday.
 Winning is just a little bit easier when  your three-point shooting is a whole 22% better than the opposition, a fact Lake Placid proved. They enjoyed a cozy  44-29 victory over Hardee.
  Antranique Felton continued  her habit of posting crazy stat lines,  dropping  a double-double on 17 points and 21  rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which  she has scored at least a third of Lake Placid's points. Another player making a difference was  Ke'Nise Madison, who  scored nine points.
 Meanwhile, Frostproof's recent rough patch got a bit rougher  on Monday after their fourth straight loss. They took a serious blow against Fort Meade, falling  53-17. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  loss Frostproof has suffered  since December 11, 2023.
 Frostproof's  defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of  Shalayjah Robey, who  scored eight points, and  Julissa Becerra who  scored four points.
 Lake Placid's victory  ended a three-game drought on the road  and  puts them at 7-6. As for Frostproof, they dropped their record down to 3-11 with that  defeat, which was their third straight  on the road.
 Everything came up roses for Lake Placid against Frostproof when the teams last played  back in November of 2023 as the  squad secured a  48-6 victory. Does  Lake Placid have another victory up their sleeve, or will Frostproof turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
