Dan Yohman and Brandon Broa provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Mentor. The connection was good for 60 yards, the longest such play in Northeast Ohio - Valley this season.
Twinsburg moved up to 163 from 212 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. The Tigers were able to make the jump by beating Strongsville 31-14.
The Cardinals' dynamic duo of Mitch Trubisky and Conner Krizancic proved tough for Brunswick to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Trubisky threw for 298 yards and five touchdowns and Krizancic had 172 yards receiving. Brandon Fritts helped Mentor's passing attack out by catching five balls for 64 yards.
Nick Roberts was the most productive running back in the league this week. He ran for 81 yards on 26 carries as the Blue Devils beat the Blue Devils. Teammate Chase Rieg added to the ground attack by rushing for 59 yards.
Steve Trivisonno's team's Trubisky and Krizancic have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading Northeast Ohio - Valley in both passing and receiving yards. Trubisky has thrown for 1485 yards this season, while Krizancic, a 6-foot-2 receiver, has 31 catches for 489 yards. Brunswick's Roberts leads the league in rushing yards with 603.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Mentor takes on second place Solon. Last week, the Cardinals topped the Blue Devils, while Solon defeated Medina.

Jim McQuaide's team took down the Battling Bees 42-14 last week, the largest margin of any game.
