Baseball Recap: Sequoyah Comes Up Short

Sequoyah was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bay Tornadoes.

Sequoyah saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Hall, who scored two runs while going 1-for-3. Hall is becoming a predictor of Sequoyah's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is 3-1 (and 2-9 when he doesn't).

Sequoyah's loss dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Bay, their win bumped their record up to 11-7.

Coming up, Sequoyah will challenge Lenoir City at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Bay, they will take on Indianapolis Arsenal Technical at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
