The Eagle Valley Devils are taking a road trip to  take on the Loveland Red Wolves  at 5:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Loveland took a loss in their last  game and will be looking to turn the tables on Eagle Valley, who comes in off a win.
Eagle Valley's defense heads into the  matchup  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  two weeks ago. Everything went their way against Summit as they made off with  a  4-0 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what Eagle Valley needed considering they were shut out in their previous   contest.
 Izzy Hiatt and  Addison Mandeville scored all four of Eagle Valley's goals,  bringing their combined season tally to 14 goals.
 Meanwhile, Loveland was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight  loss. They came up short against  Windsor, falling  9-0. While losing is never fun, Loveland can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage  in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 134th, while Windsor are ranked 24th).
 Eagle Valley is  on a roll lately: they've  won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-5-3 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only given up one  goal over those four  matches. As for Loveland, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-11.
