The Destin Sharks will face off against the Mosley Dolphins at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams are strolling into their contests after big wins in their previous games.
Destin made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Pine Forest, but still couldn't quite topple them. Destin never let Pine Forest get on the board and left with a 10-0 win on Wednesday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Sharks needed considering they were shutout in their previous match.

Lyliana Kessler and Aspen Benscoter made a big impact no matter where they played. Throwing, Kessler didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only a hit while striking out nine over four innings pitched. Meanwhile, Benscoter pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season. At bat, Kessler scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances, while Benscoter went 2-for-4 with four RBI.
In other batting news, Anita Palmer was incredible, scoring four runs while getting on base in three of her four plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Breanna Williams, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 2-for-3.
Meanwhile, Mosley made easy work of Pensacola on Tuesday and carried off a 25-7 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Dolphins.
The team relied heavily on Hannah Record, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and four RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Bayleigh Cox, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.
Mosley always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .659. The last time their OBP was this high was back in April of 2024.
Mosley now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Destin, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Thursday as neither team is afraid to steal. Destin has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.8 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Mosley struggles in that department as they've been averaging 5 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
