West Forsyth came tearing into Thursday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 12.2 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Mount Tabor Spartans 15-1. Considering the Titans have won 11 matches by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

West Forsyth pushed their record up to 17-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.8 runs on average over those games. As for Mount Tabor, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-12.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. West Forsyth will challenge rival East Forsyth at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Titans 2.6, the Eagles 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Mount Tabor is set to square off against their familiar foe Parkland at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
