The biggest upset of the week belonged to Westville, who took down 331st ranked Milford/Cissna Park, 42-14.
Fans got a thrill when Dylan Allen and Patrick Ganley connected against Jamaica/Catlin. The longest such play in Vermilion Valley this season, the connection resulted in 60 yards.
Bismarck-Henning's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Allen threw for 92 yards and Ganley had 60 yards receiving. On the ground Mo Abbed chipped in 151 yards.
Abbed provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Blue Devils topped the Storm.
Ganley was the best wideout in the league this week as Bismarck-Henning bested Jamaica/Catlin.
Bismarck-Henning's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Blue Devils feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Allen has thrown for 317 yards and 4 touchdowns this season, while Ganley has 4 catches for 121 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Oakwood/Armstrong takes on Mark Dodd's team. The Comets are in sixth place, while the Blue Devils are in first place.
The Tigers scaled the state rankings by moving to 410 from 479 this week, the biggest jump in Vermilion Valley. Westville climbed the ranks as a result of besting the Bearcats 42-14.
