Basketball Recap: Freedom Skates Past Hylton with Ease

Freedom won the last time they faced Hylton and things went their way on Friday too. The Freedom Eagles took their contest with ease, bagging a 43-15 win over the Hylton Bulldogs. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' Virginia basketball rankings (they are ranked 134th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 314th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Freedom's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Savannah Price, who posted ten points along with seven steals and six boards. With that strong performance, Price is now averaging an impressive 3 steals per game. Keilani Johnson was another key player, putting up five points along with eight boards and six steals.

Freedom smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 19 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
