Owen Schlager was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 37 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it four consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Trinity's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Amil Way, who scored 18 points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Boiling Springs didn't have too much trouble with Camp Hill on the road on Tuesday as they won 60-44. That 60-44 margin sets a new team best for Boiling Springs this season.
It was another big night for Brandon Ascione, who scored 22 points. Those 22 points set a new season-high mark for he. Another player making a difference was Ethan Yenser, who scored 12 points.
Trinity's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Boiling Springs, their win bumped their record up to an identical 4-0.
Keep an eye on the arc in Friday's game: Trinity have made nailing deep shots look easy this year this season, having only averaged 4.5 threes per game. However, it's not like Boiling Springs struggles in that department as they've been averaging only 7.2 threes per game. Given Trinity's sizeable advantage in that area, Boiling Springs will need to find a way to close that gap.
Everything came up roses for Trinity against Boiling Springs in their previous matchup back in January as the team secured a 56-27 win. With Trinity ahead 35-13 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
