St. Ansgar were the big favorite in their most recent match, and for good reason. They were fully in charge on Friday, breezing past Mott 48-7. Followers of St. Ansgar probably expected little less of the team in a season in which they have collected three blowout victories.
The victory bumped St. Ansgar's record up to 3-1. Mott are still searching for that first win as they fell to 0-4.
St. Ansgar will look to defend their home turf next week against Nashua-Plainfield at 7:00 PM. As for Mott, they will face off against Central Springs.
