Even though they lost, Fairwinds Christian's still made a splash on offense and bumped their average scoring up to 50.6 points per game (they're now ranked -1th in scoring overall).
Fairwinds Christian's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaiden Rajis, who scored 14 points along with two steals. Another player making a difference was Chase Clary, who scored 13 points.
Fairwinds Christian struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Faith Baptist School racked up 15 assists.
Faith Baptist School's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Zach Miller, who scored 21 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Miller has scored all season. Eli Miller was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
Fairwinds Christian's defeat ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-3. As for Faith Baptist School, the win for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.
Fairwinds Christian will head out on the road to challenge Greenwood Mennonite at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Faith Baptist School won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Chestertown Christian Academy at 6:00 p.m. on January 12th.
