Basketball Recap: Pine's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Pine had to endure a four-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They took down the Palm Beach Christian Prep Saints 54-39 on Thursday.

Pine's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Wade Singleton led the charge by almost dropping a double-double on 13 points and nine boards. Singleton is also on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last four games he's played. Maverick Wycoki was another key player, going 7 of 10 on his way to 19 points along with five assists and five rebounds.

The victory got Pine back to even at 12-12. As for Palm Beach Christian Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
