The Brandon Bulldogs were the 56-53 winner over the Clinton Arrows when they last played one another back in November of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. Brandon fell to Clinton 49-43. Brandon just can't catch a break and has now endured three defeats in a row.
Taelar Felton continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Clinton, scoring 22 points along with 5 rebounds and 5 steals. The contest was Felton's seventh in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jatoi Johnson, who scored 6 points along with 6 rebounds.
Brandon's loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Clinton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 5-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Brandon will square off against Biloxi at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Clinton, they will head out on the road to face off against Raymond at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Raymond is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.
