Meanwhile, while Parkland put up some runs on Thursday, the same can't be said for Louis E. Dieruff. The Trojans put the hurt on the Huskies with a sharp 7-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Trojans, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.
Not much got past Sawyer Marsteller, who gave up just four hits and racked up six Ks to keep Louis E. Dieruff off the board. Marsteller has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks in nine consecutive appearances.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Peyton Scherff, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run and one RBI.
