After flying high against the Chickasaw Chieftains  on Monday, the St. Michael Catholic Cardinals  came back down to earth. St. Michael Catholic took a  50-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Robertsdale on Tuesday. St. Michael Catholic lost against Robertsdale in their previous head to head  back in December of 2021, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the  52-50 score last time.
 Among those leading the charge was   Kole Singler, who  scored 21 points. That's the first time this season that  he  scored 15 or more  points.  Gabe Stevens was another key contributor,  scoring ten points.
 St. Michael Catholic's defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of wins at home  and  dropped them to 8-5. As for Robertsdale, the  victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 8-5.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. Michael Catholic will be home for the holidays to greet  Gulf Shores at 7:30  p.m.  on Friday. Robertsdale will be home for the holidays to greet  Foley at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday.
