On Thursday, West Ranch are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against San Marcos at San Marcos HS at 4:00 PM. It might come down to the wire as the game is expected to be close.
West Ranch were fully in charge last Thursday, breezing past Simi Valley 54-0.
Meanwhile, San Marcos had to kick off their season with an away game, and unfortunately wound up with a long bus ride home. They found themselves the relunctant recipients of an unpleasant 0-33 punch to the gut against Santa Maria last week.
West Ranch's win lifted them to 2-0 while San Marcos's loss dropped them down to 0-1. We'll find out if West Ranch can add another positive mark to their record or if San Marcos can shake off the loss and take the spring out of West Ranch's step.
