The Fellowship Academy Mustangs will head out on the road to face off against the Victory Baptist Academy Patriots at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Fellowship Academy has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
On Tuesday, Fellowship Academy was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 53-47 to Highlands.
Despite the loss, Fellowship Academy saw an underclassman step up: Bryce Baker scored 12 points along with 5 rebounds and 4 blocks. Baker has been hot recently, having posted two or more blocks the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of TJ Maye, who scored 16 points.
Meanwhile, Victory Baptist Academy had to kick off their season on the road on November 10th, but they showed no ill effects. They strolled past Fellowship Academy with points to spare, taking the game 52-37.
The losses dropped Fellowship Academy to 0-4 and Highlands to 4-3.
