If the Northside Rams were feeling good off their 63-39 takedown of the Brookwood Panthers last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Northside ended up on the wrong side of a tough 61-35 walloping at the hands of American Christian Academy on Saturday. Northside has not had much luck with American Christian Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last five times they've met.
American Christian Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Davis Dare out in front who scored 18 points along with seven assists. Dare has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last four times he's played. Eric Hines was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 12 points and ten rebounds.
Northside has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 10-15 record this season. As for American Christian Academy, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 22-8.
Northside does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for American Christian Academy, they will be playing at home against Hale County on Tuesday. American Christian Academy is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 56.4 points per game this season.
