Pine waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. The stars were shining brightly for them in a 51-34 win over the Mt. Carmel Cubs.

Pine's victory was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-1. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 26.8 points per game. As for Mt. Carmel, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pine will finish 2024 at home by hosting Fontainebleau at 6:00 p.m. on December 27th. As for Mt. Carmel, they will take on Archbishop Hannan in a tournament on Saturday.
